I’ll catch up with those I spoke to within the last couple months some time later this year, but for now here is the first set of replies I received to my request.

Please note that these are lifted directly from the messages each respective individual sent to me. I’ve not copy edited their writing.

Audio Interview

Joseph A. Gervasi talks to the spirited and enthusiastic Chuck Treece about growing up playing drums in his father's soul band in the early '70s, seeing seminal funk and soul bands, skating, playing in McRad, having his own Nike shoe, and the people and bands he met along the way. Chuck's cheerful disposition is contageous!

Audio Interview

Joseph A. Gervasi interviews Bryan Lathrop, who was once known for playing in the early '80s Philly punk band Sadistic Exploits, but is mostly known for his photography and skating today. We talk punk and politics, travel, photography, skating, and more. Bryan retains a shining enthusiasm for life and living it with a sense of fun and purpose, which makes this interview such a pleasure to listen to.
